Driver Chassis Selections for New Hampshire Lenox Industrial Tools 301

Note: Not every team lists their chassis' in their press releases.

1. Kyle Busch: Coming off sixth top 10 in 12 starts; 15.2 average finish in six starts with Joe Gibbs Racing; Sixth-best average finish (13.2) in the eight races with the COT; Will return in the same car (chassis No. 311) that he finished third with at Michigan.

2. Carl Edwards: 14.5 average finish in 13 starts; Last of two top-10s came in the 2008 fall race; 10th-best average finish (14.6) in the eight races with the COT; Will debut a new car (chassis No. 782) in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.

3. Kevin Harvick: Has finished fifth in last two starts; 11 top-10s in 20 starts; Will return in the same car (chassis No. 332) that he won with at Martinsville, finished fourth with at Phoenix and 12th with at Richmond.

4. Kurt Busch: Last of three wins came in this event in 2008; Has finished sixth or better in five of his last six starts; Fourth-best average finish (9.8) in the eight races with the COT; Will debut a new car (chassis No. 756) in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.

5. Jimmie Johnson: Defending event winner; Win was third in 18 starts; Has finished ninth or better in nine of the last 11 races; Second-best average finish (7.6) and third in laps led (224) in the eight races with the COT; Will return in the same car (chassis No. 590) that he finished eighth with at Richmond in April.

6. Matt Kenseth: 14.1 average finish in 22 starts; Last of 11 top-10s came in the 2007 fall race; Has yet to lead a lap in last seven starts; Will return in the same car (chassis No. 766) that he finished sixth with in the All-Star Race.

7. Jeff Gordon: Last of three wins came in the 1998 fall race; Coming off 17th and 18th top 10 in 32 starts; Finished fourth in this event last year; Leads all drivers with a 7.0 average finish in the eight races with the COT; Leads all drivers with 1,207 laps led; Will debut a new car in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.

8. Dale Earnhardt Jr: Coming off sixth top five (fourth) in 23 starts; 14.8 average finish in six starts with Hendrick Motorsports; Seventh-best average finish (13.6) and fourth in laps led (176) in the eight races with the COT; Will pilot the same car (chassis No. 616) that Jeff Gordon raced to a 20th-place finish at Martinsville last fall.

9. Ryan Newman: Has finished eighth or better in last three starts; 12.5 average finish in four starts with Stewart-Haas Racing; Two wins in previous 14 starts with Penske Racing; Fourth in laps led with 539.

10. Denny Hamlin: Winner of this event in 2007; Coming off second runner-up finish in 10 starts; Leads all drivers with a 7.6 average finish; Third-best average finish (8.2) in the eight races with the COT.

11. Tony Stewart: 11.3 average finish in four starts with Stewart-Haas Racing; Second-place finish in this event last year was 14th top 10 in 24 starts; Last of two wins with Joe Gibbs Racing came in this event in 2005; Second in laps led with 1,130; Fifth-best average finish (10.1) and second in laps led (366) in the eight races with the COT; Will return in the same car (chassis No. 637) that he finished 34th at Martinsville in April.

12. Clint Bowyer: Coming off second win in 10 starts; Eighth-best average finish (13.8) and first in laps led (399) in the eight races with the COT; Will debut a new car (chassis No. 365) in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.

13. Juan Pablo Montoya: Only top 10 (third) in eight starts came in the 2009 fall race; Two-time pole winner; Fifth in laps led (147) in the eight races with the COT; Will return in the same car (chassis No. 1110) that he finished fourth with at Martinsville in April.

14. Greg Biffle: Winner of the 2008 fall race; Last of six top-10s came in the 2009 fall race; 17.4 average finish in 17 starts.

15. David Ragan: Has yet to post a top 10 in eight starts; 26.9 average finish; Will return in the same car (chassis No. 755) that he finished fourth with at Richmond.

16. Paul Menard: Has yet to post a top-20 finish in eight starts; 29.1 average finish; Will debut a new car (chassis No. 341) in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.

17. Kasey Kahne: Making first track start with Team Red Bull; Last of five top-10s in 14 starts came in this event in 2009.

18. AJ Allmendinger: Only top 10 in seven starts came in this event in 2010; Will return in the same car (chassis No. 736) that he most recently finished seventh with at Richmond.

19. Mark Martin: 16.3 average finish in four starts with Hendrick Motorsports; Won the 2009 fall race; Win was last of 14 top-10s in 28 starts; Fifth in laps led with 465; Will return in the same car (chassis No. 663) that he finished 14th with at Richmond.

20. Joey Logano: Won this event in 2009; Ninth-place finish in this event last year was second top 10 in five starts; Will debut a new car (chassis No. 314) in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.
